PCHS 2009-10 Highlights
The fall semester had many memorable events; some are hinted at here. There is nothing of the record snow that added just a day to the holidays but stuck around in some areas for over a month. There is the homecoming in the rain, the football win over Hendersonville, the Cadets' percussion ensemble, volleyball, soccer, the talent show, the Winter Formal, and the winning entrees in the Scholastic Art Show.
Some upcoming events of the spring semester will be posted to the far right. Stay tuned!

 Nestled neatly in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Polk County High School is home to approximately 750 of North Carolina's finest students. Polk County High is a progressive school with a dedicated faculty and admin-istration. In 2008 Polk County High was named a Bronze medal winner. (Continued on Principal's Page) |

The Drama Department will sponsor the 2nd annual Mr. PCHS Pageant. Musical productions are costly, and so an entertaining evening that parodies the beauty pageant serves as a good fundraiser.
